DEMO DAYS AT DREAMSTEP

WHY DEMO DAYS EXISTS

Real ideas
in action.

An invitation to see, ask, make, test and learn together.

There is power in showing someone how.

Demo Days at Dreamstep is a new tradition celebrating the people who build, invent, discover and teach us how things work.

Engineers, inventors, designers, makers, educators, students and curious minds come together for live, hands-on demonstrations of real ideas in action. It is about seeing things work, asking questions and exploring together.

At its heart, Demo Days is about passing skills, discoveries and the joy of making from one generation to the next.

How we gather

People deserve a chance to ask questions without embarrassment. Demonstrators deserve credit and care for their work. Participation is an invitation, not a requirement. A demonstration can be unfinished and still be honest, safe and useful.

Questions people ask

Do I have to be an engineer?

No. If you are curious, you belong here. Builders, artists, educators, students and anyone who wants to understand are welcome.

Does my idea have to be finished?

No. Working prototypes, experiments and instructive failures are welcome. Tell people what is real and what is still being explored.

How do I register?

Visit our Luma calendar for current events and registration. The event listing is the source of truth for time, place and availability.

Can a school host?

Yes. Begin with our schools invitation; details are coordinated with the school and its existing responsibilities.
